Many thanks to all the members who helped out with the college open day yesterday.  There were 32 shooters in a two-hour period, each shooting two cards each.  Getting through such a large number of shooters in a short space of time was made possible by the 22(!!!) club members and helpers who assisted (Meredith, Jess, Evan, Jamie, Rhys, Callum, Luisa, Yogesh, David, Michael, Craig, Rory, Mark, Pratik, Stephen, Ross, Alex, Jialin, Erin, Jason, Maor, Dianne) – thank you!!  The college training squad of 14 (from Marsden, Wellington College, and Wellington Girls) has now been selected with shooting commencing for the squad next Sunday.

Next weekend a working bee is being held by the Wellington Association at the Royal Tiger range.  The tasks will cover cleaning up the grounds as well as inside the building.  On both days the working bee will start at 10 am.  It would be great if you can help out for a couple of hours on either day.  Please take along any equipment you think may help with the clean-up.

Our club AGM will be held next Sunday at 7pm, followed by a practice session for club shooting.  The AGM will cover the setting of club membership fees for the season, elections for committee positions (if you are interested in being on the committee, please let David know), and is an opportunity for members to voice their thoughts regarding any improvements or changes to the club structure that they would like.  Club competition shooting begins the following week, and will follow the same format as last year, i.e. five series of five weeks per series, with a gap week between series.  This is for both the 10-shot and 20-shot competitions.
